Grand Opening of Number 15
On Thursday, Whiskey Row in downtown Louisville welcomed the grand opening of an innovative social hall, known as Number 15.
This dynamic, multi-purpose establishment encompasses five floors, each dedicated to its own unique experience. On the ground floor, sports enthusiasts will find a bustling sports bar and a late-night kitchen, serving customers daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., as per information available on the website.
The venue’s “Main Stage” is located on the first floor and plays host to a music-centric bar, featuring a rotating selection of offerings from diverse distilleries and breweries.
The second floor houses the “Balcony Bar,” complete with both indoor and outdoor balcony spaces, encouraging patrons to soak up the atmosphere.
The creators of Number 15 aimed to blend the characteristic flavors of Whiskey Row with a dash of Bourbon Street charm, according to the establishment’s website.
The third floor is designed as event spaces, set to open in the summer of 2023, promising an exciting addition to the city’s venues.
The building’s crowning jewel is its penthouse on the top floor. The suite, complete with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, is available for rental.
This historic site is also notable for being the location where Pappy Van Winkle, the legendary bourbon enthusiast, started his professional journey post-college.
To commemorate this grand unveiling, Number 15 has planned four nights of free live music performances on the main stage, in addition to serving drinks from local Kentucky craft breweries and distilleries.
