RePurposed is a 20,000 square-foot redevelopment site along historic West Main Street. In 2022, Baird sponsored the transformation of the space allowing it to accommodate two regulation-sized Pickleball courts and a wiffle ball field. The park is located at 615 W. Main St. Whether you are a Pickleball or wiffle ball enthusiast or a casual player, this sports park offers a unique Downtown experience for all.
Pickleball 101 Clinics
Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the Month
July through October
Clinic: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Open Play: 6:30pm – 7:30pm
In partnership with Goodbounce Pickleball Yard & Wellness, Louisville Downtown Partnership will host free Pickleball 101 Clinics every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 5:30pm – 6:30pm at Baird Urban Sports Park, 615 W. Main St. running through October. Following each clinic, open play will be available from 6:30 – 7:30pm.
Designed for beginners, the hour-long clinics will allow individuals to learn the basics of Pickleball including equipment, basic shots, strategies, rules, and scoring.
The clinics are free to attend but do require advance registration.
Loaner paddles and balls will be offered.

Monday – Saturday | 10am – 8pm
The Pickleball courts and wiffle ball field will operate on an as available basis when other players are waiting to use the courts or field. The Pickleball nets will be up, but players are asked to bring their own equipment. Come out to enjoy a mid-week office break with your colleagues or meet up with friends before lunch!
The sports park is also available to be reserved for 2-hour blocks by companies and organizations who want to enjoy our RePurposed space and utilize the Pickleball courts and wiffle ball field. Book now by submitting a request to reserve your date and time. Please be sure to confirm your date reservation before preparing your event.
