State of the Downtown Luncheon
An annual event to update the community on the
Downtown Strategy and development progress.
Range: $1,500 – $20,000
Work Perks NEW
The first 100 visitors who present a Downtown employer
work ID receive a branded tote bag with the sponsor’s
logo, filled with seasonal produce, coffee, or lunch items.
Quarterly drawings.
Range: $2,500 – $10,000
Downtown Drive-In
A series of free, family-friendly outdoor movie nights at
the Brown-Forman Amphitheatre. Summer and Fall.
Range: $10,000 – $16,000
Downtown Holiday Market
Coinciding with the city’s Light Up Louisville celebration,
this market offers photo opportunities, food and drink,
and a large holiday-themed marketplace.
Range: $5,000 – $15,000
Downtown Silent Disco
A family-friendly silent disco event featuring a choice of
three listening stations and food and drink options.
Range: $1,500 – $3,000
Downtown Pickleball Street Fest
A two-day event at the 400 block of W. Jefferson
featuring pickleball exhibitions, clinics, a tournament,
a vendor fair, food, drinks, and music.
Range: $5,000 – $15,000
Food Truck Wednesdays
A weekly food truck lunchtime event that often features live music.
Every Wednesday, April – October.
Total cost: $5,000 – $10,000
Happy Hour Music Series
An event at the S. 4th Street Plaza featuring musicians,
a mobile bar, food trucks, and giveaways, inviting people
to unwind after work and attracting new visitors to
downtown. Monthly.
Range: $2,500 – $15,000
Steins on Main
Downtown’s Oktoberfest, a one-day celebration of
German heritage featuring breweries, food trucks,
games, and German-themed contests.
Range: $2,500 – $15,000
PLACEMAKING
Alley Gallery/Street Gallery
A public art program throughtout Downtown that
breathes new life into back-of-the-building metal doors
and traffic control boxes found at each intersection with
fun and interesting pieces of art.
Range: $1,000 – $3,000
Downtown Mural Program
A public art program featuring large-scale murals
to enhance vibrancy and engagement and foster
community pride.
Range: $5,000 – $30,000
CitySpots
An initiative to transform under-utilized outdoor spaces
into welcoming areas and urban surprises for meeting,
eating, playing, or relaxing; the first CitySpot was
unveiled in 2023 and a second added at the Bark Park.
Range: $2,500 – $25,000
Public Piano Program NEW
A public art program that enlivens Downtown Louisville,
encouraging residents, employees, and visitors to
explore its sights and sounds in new ways; 4 pianos:
2 at The Brown School and 2 at Francis Parker.
Starting in the Spring.
Range: $4,000 – $20,000
