Fall is Full

I really thought the dog days of summer would slow down and let us take our time in preparing for what is going to be a busy Fall. But no, the good news is that your team at Louisville Downtown Partnership is working hard every day to respond to you, create beauty and activation, and dream up even more ways that you can experience and enjoy Downtown.
 
This past spring, I wrote about what I thought was a crazy amount of events that we were getting ready to kick off, but we’re getting even crazier with even more events for this Fall! We will continue to show movies at the Downtown Drive-In through October, and we are rolling out two new events in September – taking the CineBus on the road for a Downtown Silent Disco at the Big Four Bridge and partnering with Louisville Ale Trail and Against the Grain to throw Louisville a new Oktoberfest event, Steins on Main!
 
I have to take a moment to brag on the LDP team. Y’all hear from me a lot, but we now have a full staff complement that is allowing us to fire on all cylinders, and I need to thank Frank, Leslie, Jim, Ken, Bryn, Taylore, Deidre, and Lakika!
 
Just wait, I’ll be writing about a few new holiday activities to be added to your calendar too. But in the meanwhile, save another date… join the Louisville community in the biggest day of non-profit giving, Give for Good, and become a Friend of Downtown by throwing a few pennies our way. This is how we’re able to pull off these events and keep planning for more.
