Louisville Downtown Partnership (LDP) today announced the 2nd annual Louisville Downtown Pickleball Street Fest sponsored by Angel’s Envy Distillery. The street fest will convert E. Main Street into an outdoor Pickleball venue featuring 12 Pickleball courts for competitive tournaments and open play opportunities, food trucks, cocktails and beer, and live music.
Taking place on Saturday, July 12, from 8:30am – 2pm on E. Main Street between S. Jackson and S. Hancock streets, the event will bring together sport and community spirit against the backdrop of Louisville’s Downtown core.
“The Pickleball Street Fest builds on LDP’s commitment to activating public spaces through creative programming,” said Rebecca Fleischaker, executive director of LDP. “By transforming our streets into active recreational spaces, we’re showcasing Downtown Louisville as a place where community, competition, and celebration come together in the heart of our city.”
The fest will include Pickleball celebrity matches, open play, and a multi-ranking round-robin tournament hosted by Goodbounce Pickleball Yard offering competitive play for all skill levels, with medals awarded to the top three teams in each division. Registration opens today, June 13. Tournament entry is $10.00 – $35.00 per player with all participants receiving a branded Pickleball hand towel.

Presented by Angel’s Envy Distillery, the fest will feature live entertainment by DJ Ace, a variety of food trucks, a pop-up bar with local beer – including Downtown’s Beer – from Ten20 Craft Brewery, and a specialty Angel’s Envy bar. Inside the distillery, from noon – 4pm, there will be yard games and specialty Peach Smash cocktails.

In addition to the annual Downtown Pickleball Street Fest, LDP manages Baird Urban Sports Park, situated along the historic W. Main Street corridor at 615 W. Main Street. The park contains two Pickleball courts and a wiffle ball field which is open to the public six days a week, Monday – Saturday, from 10am – 8pm for open play.
