Event Description:
This summer, Kentucky College of Art + Design (KyCAD) is opening its studios to the next generation of artists, writers, and designers, and we want you there!

KyCAD Summer Courses 2026 is three one-week intensives designed for students ages 15-18 who are ready to make real work, build their portfolio, and find their creative voice.

Choose one, two, or all three:

Week 1 – July 6-10 Expanded Drawing & Painting: Chromatic Sequence Push color, surface, and process into portfolio-quality work.

Week 2 – July 13-17 Fade In: Stories Into Screenplays Turn your stories into scenes made for the screen.

Week 3 – July 20-24 Blow Up! Inflatable Costume Art Build wearable inflatable sculptures where fashion meets fine art.

$300 per course. Mon-Fri, 10AM-3PM. 849 S. Third Street, Louisville, KY 40203

Scholarships are available – partial and full awards, given on a rolling basis.
