THIRD ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATION RETURNS TO DOWNTOWN LOUISVILLE
“Steins on Main” to Benefit Louisville Downtown Partnership
September 3, 2025 (Louisville, KY) — Louisville Downtown Partnership (LDP) and Against the Grain Brewery are thrilled to announce the return of the popular Oktoberfest celebration, “Steins on Main.” The celebration will return to Downtown Louisville on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 2 pm to 7 pm at RePurposed (615 W. Main Street).
The outdoor celebration will feature German-inspired cuisine, games and contests, live music by German polka band Boom Pah Pah, and an expanded lineup of local breweries. Building on the success of the past two years, this year’s festival will once again bring the traditional Bavarian celebration to the heart of Louisville while supporting Louisville Downtown Partnership (LDP), a vital organization dedicated to improving the city’s downtown core. From vibrant streetscape improvements and welcoming public spaces to community events that bring people together, proceeds from this event help build a stronger neighborhood for everyone.
“We’re excited to bring ‘Steins on Main’ back for its third year, and this time with even more ways for people to enjoy the day,” said Rebecca Fleischaker, Executive Director of LDP. “It’s become a signature fall event for Downtown, celebrating our city’s German heritage and vibrant beer scene, while supporting our mission to make Downtown a thriving, welcoming place for everyone.”
Special Event Features for 2025
- Limited-Edition Steins on Main Glassware – Attendees can purchase a branded .5L stein featuring the 2025 Steins on Main logo at LDP’s booth for $20, which includes one free pour at any participating brewery during the event.
- Happy Hour Special – From 2 pm to 3 pm, participating breweries will offer $1 off beers.
- Discounted Uber Rides – LDP is offering a limited number of $20 vouchers for Uber rides on event day to encourage safe and easy transportation. Participants can reserve their one-time ride at

This year’s celebration will feature 15 local favorites, including: Mile Wide Beer Co., Against the Grain Brewery, Atrium Brewing, Monnik Beer Co., Holsopple Brewing, Hop Atomica, Country Boy Brewing, Trellis Brewing, Awry Brewing, Shippingport Brewing, Ten20 Craft Brewery, Hometown Brewing, West 6th Brewing, Butchertown
Brewing, Falls City Brewing Company, and more. These breweries will bring a mix of traditional Oktoberfest-style beers and creative seasonal brews.
Steins on Main is presented by Block By Block with additional sponsors including Cornbread Hemp and Wilson & Muir Bank & Trust.
