LOUISVILLE DOWNTOWN PARTNERSHIP TO HOST DOWNTOWN SILENT DISCO WITH TRUNK-OR-TREAT AT WATERFRONT PARK
October event invites families and friends to get into costume and dance under the stars
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 1, 2025) – Louisville Downtown Partnership (LDP) today announced the return of its Halloween-themed Downtown Silent Disco this fall sponsored by Net Results Group. The family-friendly celebration will take place at Waterfront Park’s Big Four Lawn on Friday, October 24 from 7pm – 9pm, combining dancing with Halloween costumes and trick-or-treating fun.

Through activation of the Downtown CineBus, a mobile projection unit, the event will transform the Big Four Lawn into an outdoor dance floor with added multicolored lighting and visual effects projected onto the base of the Big Four Bridge. Participants are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costume and dance the night away underneath the glow of Louisville’s skyline.

“The Downtown Silent Disco event is a spirited way to come together with ghosts and ghouls across our community,” said Rebecca Fleischaker, executive director of LDP. “No matter your age, you will enjoy a beautiful setting, fun tunes, supernatural dancing, and spooky trunk-or-treating for an even more special experience that celebrates both our Downtown and the season.”

The event will include a Trunk-or-Treat experience hosted by Louisville Metro Police Department’s First Division featuring emergency responder vehicles; a children’s activity area provided by I Would Rather Be Reading (IWRBR) with temporary tattoos, face-painting, and hair tinsel; and food and drink options by Ten20 Craft Brewery and other local vendors.

“The Louisville Metro Police Department is proud to partner with LDP to bring our community together in such a fun and creative way,” said Major Bryan Edelen, Louisville Metro Police Commander, First Division. “Whether families are coming out for the festivities or joining in on the silent disco, this is about strengthening our community ties and enjoying Downtown Louisville together in a safe, positive, and welcoming environment.”

Produced by Louisville Silent Disco, the silent disco will allow guests to enjoy the music of their choice through three listening stations, while wearing wireless headphones with the ability to adjust the channel and volume to their preference. Headphones will be available for use free of charge by exchanging a photo ID. Families can exchange one ID for multiple headphones.

“Net Results Group is proud to sponsor the Downtown Silent Disco,” said Lance Gilbert, managing partner of Net Results Group. “Events like this bring our community together, celebrating fun, creativity, and connection in an exciting way. We’re thrilled to support an experience that lets families dance, laugh, and make memories under the Louisville skyline.”

The Downtown Silent Disco is free to the public, with accessible parking available at the Silver and Red parking lots at Waterfront Park. To access event photos and graphics, click here.
