• Formerly the Jefferson County Court House, now the seat of Louisville Metro Government. Construction began in 1837. The City of Louisville and Jefferson County Governments began occupancy in 1842 with final completion in 1860. Currently houses the office of the Louisville Metro Mayor and several offices of the Jefferson County Clerk. Listed on the National Register in 1972.
