Unity of Louisville Presents: Lamp of Peace Experience
A Weekend of Interfaith/Multi-Cultural Peacemaking Activities in Louisville
March 13-15, 2026
Hosted by Highland Community Ministries: 1228 E. Breckinridge Street, Louisville, 40204

Lamp of Peace participants will experience a multitude of ways to spread peace and harmony that will be shared by peacemakers from around the Globe, Friday March 13 through Sunday, March 15, 2026. Part of the United Kingdom’s Project 80’s year-long celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, the actual physical Lamp of Peace that will be present during the weekend is a symbol representing the “light of peace’ that emerged from the darkness of WW II.

Special International Guests:
The Right Honorable Lady Jane MacRae (Scotland) will be the honored bagpiper, piping in the Lamp of Peace. Matt Seaward (founder- England) and David Ackeroyd (Barnsley College Principal – England) will also be attending.

Highlights include:
*       Piping in of the Lamp of Peace at 3 main events       * A Breakfast for Military Veterans /Armed Forces       * Reiki, Meditation, Oneness Blessing
*       A Peace Walk     *      Coffee, tea, dessert with a Special Speaker (TBA), *    A Concert for Peace, *  A Closing Ceremony

Ticket prices will range from $25 to $100
