Director's Take

Thank You!
Dear Friends of Downtown,
As we get into the holiday season and I look back on my first year on the job, I am bursting with so much thanks for your shared commitment and support of Downtown.
We’ve been able to accomplish a lot in a short time, and that is in no small part thanks to you for showing up! Click here to see a list of Louisville Downtown Partnership’s accomplishments for 2022.
You attended events such as our first-ever downtown Cyclouvia, weekly Food Truck Wednesdays, the monthly S. 4th Night Market series, and played in our fall Wiffle ball or Pickleball leagues, as well as many other Downtown activities. For those of you who put dollars toward becoming a Friend of Downtown, you helped add more flowerpots on the streets, nearly 500 new banners on our light poles, and new public art on alley doors or electrical signal boxes.
Your generosity plays such an important part in the success of keeping Downtown clean and beautiful, and as a fun and attractive place for businesses, residents, and visitors. It truly could not be done without you! We will be busy over the next few months planning more for 2023 and we’re excited to share that with you. Help us accomplish this vision by giving the gift of membership to a loved one or become a Friend yourself this holiday season. Your contribution helps ensure that we can continue to beautify, activate, and engage places and people.
