Louisville Launches New Transportation App
Available for Download Now

Louisville, Kentucky – May 18, 2018 — Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer announced the launch of a new mobile transportation app called Go502 May 16 at a press conference.
“Go502 is straightforward and easy to use,” Fischer said. “This app is going to make it even easier for people to get out and enjoy the many great attractions in Louisville.”
Go502 is the result of a public-private partnership, Fischer said. Go502 allows users to find and pay for parking in downtown Louisville right from their mobile devices. Currently the app has access to more than 80 percent of downtown’s metered, surface, and garage parking spaces.
The Go502 app includes the following features:

  • Access to more than 80 percent of downtown Louisville parking
  • Find available parking spaces
  • Pay for metered, surface, and garage parking
  • Track payment history
  • Add parking time
  • Pay citations
  • Find bike routes and bike sharing information
  • Current TARC information
  • Ride service information

City parking officials are proud of this public-private partnership and are excited about the benefits it brings the city, especially in the central business district.
“This public-private partnership is a great opportunity to create synergy that ultimately benefits our citizens,” Tiffany Smith, Parking Authority of River City director, said. “This app helps you to better your chances, minimize time searching for parking and makes paying for parking easier.”
