Downtown 502 Living


The Louisville Downtown Partnership (LDP) holds an annual Downtown Living Tour each summer to showcase residential properties for rent and for sale, including condos, apartments and lofts. Free metered on street parking starting at 6pm. Online virtual tours and activities will also be provided, as well as activities and refreshments at select locations. This year’s featured locations will include: Nulu, Butchertown, South 4th Street, Museum Row, Whiskey Row, South Broadway, West Main, and more. Tickets are not required for the event, but sign-up is encouraged.

The annual Downtown Living Tour is a FREE event that lets you tour and collection of resources on Downtown Louisville and all it has to offer at your own pace. Visit residential communities online as well as in-person and experience incredible views and exciting amenities in each of Downtown Louisville’s central business districts’ neighborhoods.

The Downtown Living Tour markets the uniqueness and diversity of residential units in downtown. The tour offers something for everyone, from young professionals and empty-nesters looking to live downtown, as well as architectural students, medical students, students of the world and those interested in historic preservation, interior design, and urban living.

Celebrating nearly two decades, the LOUISVILLE DOWNTOWN LIVING TOUR event gives prospective residents an opportunity to explore residential communities in our Downtown neighborhoods as an open-door event. This unique tour allows you the ability to explore and compare multiple Downtown properties on one day. Simply sign up and choose your stops along the way. The annual Downtown Living Tour is an initiative of the Louisville Downtown Partnership, LDMD, LDDC.

Experience Downtown 502 Living

There is so much to see and do in Downtown Louisville! The Downtown 502 Living Tour aims to give you a peek into what it’s like to live in a city on the rise. This FREE, self-guided tour can be enjoyed on foot, by bike or using free on-street metered parking spaces after 6pm and features the hottest housing options as well as local restaurants, services, and arts and culture venues. Downtown Louisville is extremely walkable but if you prefer, the tour not only has convenient bus stops it also has a variety of rental scooters and bikes available, we also feature paid parking options at all locations, several with valet. It could not be easier to tour luxury apartments or visit one of Louisville’s iconic Downtown landmark businesses or historic buildings. The Louisville Downtown Partnership promises a day filled with surprises as you learn more about the culture and history of Downtown Louisville and take a peek into the many benefits of living in the central business district. There is no doubt, this tour will leave you feeling inspired by Kentucky’s largest and most dynamic city!

This year’s tour continues to showcase much of what it means to have an urban lifestyle with various residential options and amenities to tour. The tour is an exciting way to see many of the new and updated apartment complexes, high-rises, and more places to live in the city. With over a dozen stops featuring various residential, retail, and mixed-use buildings in different stages of construction, tour-goers will be given an exclusive opportunity to learn more about Louisville’s growing urban living options.

The next tour will be scheduled between late summer and early fall. Get ready to visit housing options located in iconic, historic buildings or contemporary rentals with amenities such as bowling alleys and art galleries. We can’t wait to share our excitement about Downtown Louisville with you!

By signing up for the event in advance (above) and visiting one of the properties on the tour you may be put in the running to receive a gift prize from participating locations on the tour. Prizes are to be announced during the event by selecting participating locations. Previous prizes have included drink vouchers at iconic Downtown Louisville Bars and restaurants, signature gift bags, and Louisville-centric treats.
