In 2020, the Muhammad Ali Center launched “I Am America,” a series of bold, courageous and provocative conversations to explore the most pressing racial justice challenges of the day.  In 2022, we are moving from conversation to action through our new public program: The Re-Imagining Series. Each installment of this innovative program will center the voices and experiences of individuals in our community most directly affected by our systems of oppression. Often, we are called to listen to “experts” who provide an analysis social justice issues from an academic perspective. This new series will create an intentional space for those in places of power to hear directly from those whom their power impacts the most.

Our first program “Re-Imagining Education” will promote the voice and resourcefulness of youth, the issues they face in our education system, and their solutions for creating a more equitable educational environment for all.

Join us for a youth-led conversation on March 23rd from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Muhammad Ali Center as we Re-Imagine Ali’s Louisville together.
