2nd annual Ark of Taste Dinner supports the work of Black Market KY and SFB Garden Grant. Four course meal, unlimited spirits and swag bag!...
Start Date: Jul 26th, 2021
About this event
Slow Food Bluegrass’s annual fundraising dinner, Ark of Taste, is a celebration in preserving foods that face extinction.
At the beautiful Naive Restaurant, Chef Patrick Roney from Ashbourne Farms and Naive’s Executive Chef Drew Corman will prepare a 4 course meal in concert with sustainable products and paired with natural wines and a locally produced beer thanks to TEN20 Craft Brewery.
Additionally, we are thrilled to present Shauntrice Martin as our guest speaker. Shauntrice is the director and founder of Black Market Kentucky, LLC, a healthy grocery store focused on combatting food apartheid in the West End of Louisville.
20% of the proceeds from the dinner will support Black Market KY, LLC with the remainder going directly to our 2021 garden grant recipient.
As an organization that promotes good, clean, and fair food for all, we support our local food system through garden grants and partnerships to help individuals and organizations practice sustainable gardening and farming techniques.
Get your ticket today to support our local food economy with a delicious dinner!
*ticket price includes unlimited wine, beer, and spirit-free beverages plus a swag bag full of locally grown produce and products.
