Community General Info:
- Champions Dog Park will remain open and accessible on all non-Show Days during normal park hours.
-
- Champions Park & River Road Country Club properties are closed to the public once Event load-in begins (9/7/18). Community members are encouraged seek out alternate dog runs / parks in the neighborhood. Community members with off-leash dogs in the Champions Park area may be approached by festival management and/or security staff and asked to keep dogs on-leash for their safety (reference Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government, Code of Ordinance Chapter 91 for additional info).
- Champions park should be considered an active construction site – with large trucks, heavy equipment, and golf cart traffic frequently moving across the park property. Please keep this in mind if / when you visit the park.
- Festival Clean-Up team will be on-site throughout the festival build, and will remain on-site through Thursday, October 4th to complete all festival clean-up work.
- Dog park users are strongly encouraged to use the Zorn Avenue entrance to the dog park to lessen cross-traffic challenges with event trucks & vehicles.
- Community members who experience any challenges with festival security staff are encouraged to reach out directly to the festival contacts listed below.
