2014 represents the 34th “running” of the Rodes City Run 10K, which began in 1981. The Louisville Triple Crown of Running, which now includes the Anthem 5K Fitness Classic, Rodes City Run 10K and Papa John’s 10 MIler, was formed in 1984. The race attracts nearly 10,000 runners and walkers and draws athletes from all over the country to compete in the ‘heart’ of Downtown Louisville. During its 32-year history, the Rodes City Run 10K has contributed over $450,000 to local charities. The entire 2012 Triple Crown race series donated over $190,000 to the WHAS Crusade For Children on your behalf, totaling nearly $1.2 million since 2002.
