July 11: Teen “After-Hours” Party

Teen “After-Hours” Party
Friday, July 11
Main Library
6-9 pm

This free event, part of Teen Summer Reading, is for 12-19 year-olds and will include mobile planetarium shows from U of L, a U of L School of Engineering challenge, and other activities.

And, for the first time, the Library will use the occasion to present its new “Teen Choice Book Awards.” Since the Library’s Teen Summer Reading Program launched on June 1, teens have been voting for their favorite books through the Library’s teen blog, and the winners, in a variety of categories, will be announced at the after-hours event.

The Library’s Teen Summer Reading Program is presented by the Library Foundation.  To learn more about the program visit, or call (502) 574-1724.
