The Procrastinator’s 11th Hour Holiday Market
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Louisville, KY (December 8, 2017) – Need to finish up your last-minute holiday shopping? Don’t worry because on Saturday, December 16th and Sunday, December 17th, at Fourth Street Live! Entertainment Complex, you can discover unique, one-of-a-kind, handmade art and crafts from local artists and vendors at The Procrastinator’s 11th Hour Holiday Market. The Normandy Gallery and The Mammoth have teamed up to present a holiday market aimed at shoppers with busy lives who still haven’t finished their holiday shopping list.
With over 60 regional artists and vendors, you can rest assured that you will find that perfect gift for your hard-to-shop-for friend or relative. The pop-up holiday market features some custom, distinct gifts that are sure to make that special someone incredibly happy. Some of our featured artists include Vanessa Goff of Wood If I Could, presenting laser-etched wood jewelry, and Bailey Wynn of Bloomed Roots, featuring premium succulent and cacti arrangements. Norman Ravis with Go Elf Yourself will also be at the event, selling elf-shaped ornaments that can be custom-made with your photos. David and Meagan Honaker of Dirty Hand Studios will also be at the event, selling hand-carved relief prints on paper and pillows. If you’re hungry, don’t miss out on Dawn Urrutia with Georgia’s Sweet Potato Pie Company. She will be selling brownies, cupcakes, and mini sweet potato pies.
These are just a few of the 60+ vendors that will be at the holiday market, covering everything from fine art, customizable pieces, jewelry, clothing, furniture, glassware, decor, plants, bath products, spa gift cards, candles, hand-made stocking stuffers, games, miniatures, books, animal portraits, purses, accessories, sweets, ornaments, wreaths, and so much more.
We will also have DJs from WXOX/ARTxFM at the event, spinning records and providing our holiday musical entertainment.
The Procrastinator’s 11th Hour Holiday Market will be located on the second level, on the west side (near PBR Cowboy Bar), in the space which was formerly a CVS Pharmacy. Just take the escalator up to the second level and walk towards the parking garage to find us. This will be an indoor, climate-controlled event happening for one weekend only. Entry to the event is FREE, and children are welcome!
The event will be ADA accessible with wide, cleared aisles, hard, smooth floors, and elevator access to the 2nd floor. The enclosed parking garage is just a short distance from the entrance and provides fully-covered, direct access to the market.
Proceeds from booth fees will be donated to The Center for Women and Families and The Mammoth Collective.
