The Frazier History Museum is thrilled to invite the public to its big screen for two special showings of the 1926 comedy-adventure, The General, staring Buster Keaton. Not only is The General known for its comedic and creative excellence, it is considered one of the most realistic portrayals of certain aspects of the Civil War. An original score performed live by Louisville’s Tamerlane Ensemble will accompany this critically-acclaimed silent film. The Tamerlane Ensemble, with its fusion of bluegrass, jazz and chamber music, is back at the Frazier after playing to sell-out crowds at the An Evening with Poe series at the Frazier Museum last fall.
